Pri 1 and 2 English
Cultivating Appreciation for the English Language: Through engaging activities and lessons, students are exposed to the beauty and richness of the English language, fostering a love for learning and using English. By exploring diverse texts, stories, and media, students develop an appreciation for different forms of expression and communication in English. Developing a Robust Foundation in Key Areas: Reading: Students engage with a variety of texts to enhance reading comprehension, fluency, and critical thinking skills. Listening: Activities and exercises improve students' listening comprehension and ability to understand spoken English in various contexts. Speaking: Through classroom discussions, Show-and-Tell, and other interactive activities, students gain confidence in expressing themselves orally and communicating effectively. Writing: Students learn fundamental writing skills, including grammar rules and techniques for brainstorming and developing creative storylines. Laying Groundwork for Effective Orators and Writers: Public Speaking: Classroom discussions and the Show-and-Tell component provide opportunities for students to practice public speaking and develop confidence in expressing their ideas and thoughts verbally. Writing Skills: Students are introduced to fundamental writing skills, setting the stage for further development as they progress through the programme. Techniques for brainstorming and developing creative storylines foster imagination and creativity in their writing.

Pri 3 & Pri 4 English
At the Middle Primary level, students will sharpen their foundational skills acquired from Lower Primary. Students will expand their library of vocabulary with our Mind Stretching Vocabulary list, and build upon their proficiency in grammar to effectively manipulate and transform sentences. They will be introduced to a broad range of narrative and information-based text types, to train their ability to analyse implied meaning, and respond critically. Students will continue to hone their skills in communicating effectively, both in the spoken and written form. With the help of proprietary frameworks such as R.E.A.P and P.E.E.R.S, they will acquire good practices in reading fluently, and communicating their ideas in a structured and coherent manner. They will also be trained to effectively brainstorm, structure, and enliven their essays with writing techniques reinforced through our regular writing tasks.

Pri 5 & Pri 6 English
Our Primary 5 and 6 Programme will gear students up for the PSLE, and equip them with exam-smart techniques and skills to ace the examinations. Students will master core grammar rules, and continue to strengthen their knowledge of vocabulary, which will enable them to tackle multiple sections of the English paper more effectively. Students will become well-acquainted with trending PSLE composition themes and common mistakes made by students in the examinations. They will reinforce their techniques in analysing composition questions, and brainstorming storylines, and acquire more tools to ace their writing tasks, through the use of impressive opening hooks and good vocabulary phrases demonstrated through model essays. Through continuous practice with our R.E.A.P and P.E.E.R.S framework, students will also master the skill of communicating effectively, and differentiate themselves from their peers in the oral examinations.
